Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Early Reviews Are In…

Daredevil: Born Again’s second season drops in just under a week. Because of that, critics and journalists have seen that part of season two and have shared their opinions on the season. What are they saying? Let’s talk about it!

My Thoughts: As you can see the early buzz for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again is really good. As much as this gets me excited that it’s another solid season of television, the early buzz for that first season was really good and the final result was good but not great. With that show it seemed like the people that binged the show liked it a whole lot more then the people who watched it weekly. I’m curious of this season will have a similar vibe to it. I’m very excited for this season, as it’s the creative team that did the final two episodes of season one which were fantastic. As far as the early buzz for season two, it’s reassuring that this seems to be another solid season of television. Where people are praising the fact that it’s just as violent and bloody as ever with fantastic action sequences. It’s not too surprising that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are being praised in their roles because the always seem to be. The two things that surprised me that was repeated was that Bullseyes is apparently a scene stealer. I only included one review that mentioned Bullseye, but several of the reviews were praising him as a standout for the season. The other thing was people saying that the politics in the show are very timely to what’s happening now. I’m curious what they mean by that and where exactly they got with it. Because they could easily go a couple of different directions that could either work for the show or not work for the show. We’ll see what side it ends up falling on.
