Top 15 Highest Rated Legends of Tomorrow Episodes Based on IMDB Scores Ranked

Top 15 Highest Rated Legends of Tomorrow Episodes Based on IMDB Scores Ranked

We have made it to the last of our favorite highest rated episodes series, I’ve been doing this for the 4 main Arrowverse shows. I’ve already done this for Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. With that out of the way, let’s get started.

15. Invasion! (Season 2, Episode 7): The final part in the annual crossover is a good solid episode, but not a particularly good crossover episode. My biggest issue with the Invasion! crossover itself is that each episode feels like an episode of it’s own show, with cameos from other characters. So half of this episode is just the Legends trying to learn the backstory of the Dominators and stuff like that. The final battle is fun, seeing all of the heroes battle it out against an alien invasion is always fun to see. But in general, since it feels too much like a Legends of Tomorrow episode and not enough like a crossover episode, it does get held back a bit.

14. Legends of To-Meow Meow (Season 4, Episode 8): Now, I do not like season 4 of the show, I think it’s a bad season. But this would easily be my favorite episode of that season. Where they just got to go bonkers and crazy and that’s the best thing about this episode. It’s so weird, where Zari turns into a cat. Sara, Ava, and Gideon become assassins. Ray, Nate, and Mick become bounty hunters. It’s ridiculous, but it just works. And it does have this weird charm to it. Since I don’t like the story line of season 4, and this episode doesn’t focus on that. It is a big positive for me.

13. Legendary (Season 1, Episode 16): A very good season finale to season 1, that ends with a great cliffhanger. The cliffhanger being Hourman showing up, and teasing The Justice Society of America for season 2. The scene where Sara visits the Arrow Bunker, and her dad tells her what happened to Laurel is really emotional. I think the most emotional scene of that season, and one of the most emotional of the show in general. But I don’t care for the way that Vandal Savage is defeated, it feels lazy and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Also, I don’t like Hawkman and Hawkgirl as characters, so they hold down season 1 in general.

12. Destiny (Season 1, Episode 15): The penultimate episode to season 1 I think is just a bit better than the season finale of season 1. The most memorable thing about this episode was the stuff with Snart in the final moments of the episode. They gave him an interesting arc in season 1, and so having him sacrifice himself to save the rest of the time was really well done. The episode poses The Time Masters as a threat towards the Legends. So in general, a very solid episode to the season and the show. But not a top tier episode for me.

11. Phone Home (Season 3, Episode 4): E.T. is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I love that this movie plays homage to that movie so well. Where go back in the 1980s and see Ray as a young kid who found a baby dominator. The baby dominator is so cute, and it’s relationship with Ray is pretty sweet. Nate gets some funny moments, where he is kind of hitting on Ray’s mom just a little bit. You know, I don’t think the acting from Young Ray is all that great, not bad, just that most child actors aren’t that good. But an episode this is a lot of fun, heart-whelming, and a strong episode in general.

10. Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 5 (Season 5, Episode 1): A fun enough episode, and a solid conclusion to the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. The big scene of this episode for me was the final monologue given by Oliver, and seeing some more cameos from Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and Stargirl. Plus that little scene where Barry reveals the Justice League table, and the Justice League officially being formed in this episode. But when the big boss battle of this episode is them trying to defeat a giant Beebo, it doesn’t feel like a crossover. Or an episode as a part of this crossover. So a good enough episode, but I do think it is one of the weaker episodes of the crossover event.

9. Back to the Finale: Part II (Season 6, Episode 7): As of now, this is the highest rated episode of season 6. And I would agree with that, this is a top tier episode from season 6. And one that came to a nice conclusion with the whole Sara being abducted by aliens plot line. Just seeing her reunite with Ava and the team has a certain level of emotion to it. And it does end with Sara proposing to Ava, a really nice way to end the episode. Also, I think the whole story of The Legends going back to the night that Sara was abducted was a nice way to do an episode in this season. So in general, a very good episode inside a good season in season 6.

8. Crisis on Earth-X: Part 4 (Season 3, Episode 8): Easily the best of the Legends of Tomorrow crossover episodes. The opening scene with the death of Martin Stein, it’s one of the most emotional deaths in the entire Arrowverse. The acting by Victor Garber and Frans Drameh was very well done. The final fight between our heroes and the Earth-X villains is a lot of fun. Seeing Barry go up against Thawne, Oliver going up against Evil Oliver, and Kara going up against Evil Kara. And I liked the ending with Diggle being the one to marry Barry and Iris and then Oliver and Felicity. So a very good episode, honestly the top 8 are like B+ and above for me.

7. Aruba (Season 2, Episode 17): This episode is kind of tied with the season 3 finale for being the best season finale of the show. I like how this episode starts with The Legends trying to escape Doomworld, and then they learn they need to go back to Aruba or episode 15. And 30 minutes of this finale is The Legends drafting Thawne with the past selves. The cameo from Laurel was a nice little scene, and it is satisfying to see Thawne get defeated at the end of the episode. I don’t think the cliffhanger is as strong as the season 1 finale. But in general, a very very good season finale and episode to this show.

6. Here I Go Again (Season 3, Episode 11): One of the most fun episodes of the entire show. We have gotten 3 time loop episodes in the Arrowverse, and this is a great episode of the show. This was the first (and really only time) where Zari was the main character of an episode where she gets caught in this time loop, and The Waverider keeps on blowing up over and over again. Time loop and time travel stories are a lot of fun, and like I said this is one of the most fun episodes of the show. It doesn’t really tie into the season 3 story line, but I don’t really care because I’m having so much fun watching this episode.

5. Doomworld (Season 2, Episode 16): This is such a great concept for an episode, where in episode 15 The Legion of Doom basically win at their mission, and in the process create this world where they are in charge. And The Legends have to try and escape this world, and un-do what they did. The Legion of Doom are such great villains, and whenever they are kind of front and center for an episode, it’s a lot of fun. And seeing The Legends be very different is fun to see. So it has a great concept, a great story line, and some great characters in the episode. So easily, one of the best of the show.

4. Mr. Parker’s Cul-de-Sac (Season 5, Episode 7): The first part of the two parter where Ray and Nora leave the show. And I like that this episode is inspired from the Mr. Rogers tv show, and it has a nice feel about it, and the actor they got to be Mr. Parker is fun in the role. Neal McDonough is just great as Damien Darhk, so him being in this episode is a big positive. He’s so much, and it is one of the funniest episodes of the entire show. The final 5 minutes where Ray and Nora get married, and it sets up episode 8 really well with where this episode ends. So I love this episode, and one of the better episodes from season 5.

3. Star City 2046 (Season 1, Episode 6): This is my favorite episode from season 1, it’s just a great concept for an episode. Where the team visits Star City in 2046, and Star City is this apocalyptic wasteland, where Deathstorke’s son is in the picture, and Diggle’s son is Green Arrow. But seeing old man Oliver is great, Stephen Amell nails playing this version of Oliver. But it also moves the relationship between Snart and Mick forward, and sets up where the season goes with their story line. So it’s fun, important, and just a great episode all around.

2. The One Where We’re Trapped on T.V. (Season 5, Episode 14): For me, this is one of the most fun episodes on the entire show, and my favorite episode from season 5. And I just love the concept of The Legends getting trapped in different Warner Brothers owned television shows. But not calling them by their names, Friends, Game of Thrones, and Downton Abbey were the inspired shows. And it just provided some really fun moments that did put a smile on my face. It moves the plot forward for season 5 just a bit. And it’s a nice Segway into where the finale to season 5 takes things. All in all, a great episode of the show.

1. Legion of Doom (Season 2, Episode 10): For me, I’ve always really enjoyed when tv shows do episodes that heavily focus on the villains. 90% of this episode is about The Legion of Doom, and since I think this group of villains are the best villains on the show it adds this nice level of greatness to it. Eobard Thawne, Malcolm Merlyn, and Damien Darhk are just great together, and you learn a bit about each of them. It’s great seeing Zoom back again, but the zombie version of him that we saw in the second season of The Flash. And how Zoom ties into this season is pretty cool. And the scenes where they torture Rip Hunter are pretty interesting. So I love this episode, this is one of the best episodes of the show, maybe even the best. But we will just have to wait and see, but it is number 1 on my list.

There you have it, my ranking of the 15 highest rated Legends of Tomorrow episodes according to IMDB scores. Remember, I already did this type of ranking with Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. And I will have a new mini series starting in September and ending in February, related to the MCU. Thanks for reading!
