5 WandaVision Theories I Have
We only have two more episodes of WandaVision, and this show has raised a whole lot of questions and theories. So today, I wanted to share 5 WandaVision theories I have about WandaVision. NOTE: To state the obvious, this post will contain SPOILERS for WandaVision. I will talk about some stuff that happens in episode 7. So if you haven’t seen the show or episode 7. DON’T READ!
5. Monica Rambeau will become a superhero: Ever since episode 4 of WandaVision we have learned that when Monica went into Westview her body and cells were being re-written. Darcy has mentioned this a couple of times. And in episode 7 when she went back into Westview hair turned this light shade of blue, and when she encountered Wanda we saw her land and this blast came up from it. So I think that either in episode 8 or 9 Monica will become a superhero and help defeat the threat. She did become a superhero in the comics, and they did say that Monica will be in Captain Marvel II, maybe this is why she is in there. And maybe they use Monica to help defeat Agatha in the season finale of the show. There have been heavy hints that this is where the show is going, and I think it will make sense if it does happen.
4. The multiverse is put in danger after Wanda defeats Agatha: Back in July 2019, and Kevin Feige announced phases 4 and 5 of the MCU. He said that events of WandaVision will tie into the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. So I think that through the process of defeating Agatha, a big burst of energy explodes into the sky and that affects how the multiverse. And I think at the end of episode 9 either in a credit scene we see Doctor Strange come and recruit Wanda to help with the multiverse. And with the burst of energy the multiverse is in danger, therefore the Multiverse of Madness. Once again, I’m not sure that this could happen or even how this will tie into Doctor Strange 2 but this is my theory and I think this could be a cool way for it to happen.
3. Wanda and Vision team-up with SWORD to defeat Agatha: So at the end of episode 7 it is revealed that Agnes is Agatha Harkness, and possibly the villain of the season. Maybe in episode 8 Wanda has a fight with Agatha and is badly defeated, and Vision can’t defeat them. And maybe Agatha leaves Westview and destroys everything that SWORD has around the area, and they are left empty handed. But maybe Monica goes into Westview and informs Wanda and Vision with what they did, and episode 8 ends with Wanda and Vision teaming up with SWORD to defeat Agatha. And maybe then in episode 9 you have Wanda, Vision, and SWORD battle Agatha in this all out battle, and maybe in the process Agatha mind controls the citizens of Westview to have an army.
2. Agatha is working with SWORD: This one might go against the last theory, but I think this one makes sense. In episode 4 when you have Jimmy Woo finding out who the citizens in Westview are in the real world. Agatha was the one they couldn’t identify. Maybe that is because SWORD knew about Agatha and erased everything about Agatha. And in episode 7 through song we learn that Agatha caused the sit-com to take place. But maybe why SWORD had Agatha create this was to frame Wanda as a villain. And maybe Agatha turns to evil and that is why she decides to destroy the SWORD operation outside of Westview. And this could lead to my last theory of Wanda and Vision teaming up with SWORD, because both of them felt betrayed by the Agatha character. I don’t think this is where the show is going but I would be down if this is what they decided to do.
1. Michael Fassbender is the “surprise cameo” at the end of the show: A few weeks back, Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda) said that there is a big cameo at the end of the show. And I think that it is none other than Mr. Michael Fassbender portraying Magneto. We also have clues that Paul Bettany stated this “I have always wanted to work with this person”. Fassbender and Bettany have never worked together. And in the comics Magneto is the father of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. So maybe it’s revealed that Wanda and Pietro were adopted and the people that were their parents are foster parents. And maybe on this earth they actually are the children of Magneto. I’m a really big fan of what Fassbender brought to the table as Magneto so I would be so excited if he appears on WandaVision.
